The lucky of us has a body covered by a lovely organ we call skin. There are babies I hear that are born with their bones outside of their skin. The thought of that sounds like a horror. Now, I don’t know why some skin is beautiful and some not so much. I feel like it probably began when someone needed a leg up. But, that is another story. I do know that I am personally attracted to some skin and not to others. But, if you ask some random person on the street at some undetermined place like Mumbai or Saskatchewan you will get a multitude of answers. If you ask someone in Springfield or Sameburg you will probably get answers that are quite similar.

I have never felt comfortable on a nude beach, but Europe in general doesn’t seem to have a problem with it. Some people have beautiful voices, hair, minds, hands and butts. For some reason, people find fault in what others do and think. I certainly do. So, let’s just say it’s the fault of culture. Now that is something we all have, a culture All over the world, people have their cultures. And, since we all have a culture there are plenty of people that don’t like others’ culture.

Can you imagine killing someone over their attractive or unattractive butt? Well, that is where we are, and most likely as humans we have always been there. Dogs are man’s/woman’s/other’s best friends, but I have never seen a dog turn down a treat because of someone with an ugly butt or balding head.

I attended drawing/painting groups a few years back. Here are some examples of alla prima paintings and examples of studio work (see above). The first two were observations about uni-sex restrooms.

The alla prima paintings below are actual live models being paid to sit still. Painting from models is the traditional way to study the figure.
